About UP3

The mission of the UC Davis Preferred Partnership Program (UP3) is securing and managing campuswide, collaborative and strategic partnerships with select business partners that align with UC Davis' Principles of Community and educational mission.

Establishes and executes a comprehensive campus strategy for securing universitywide preferred business partners
Merges the campus services contract process with sponsorships of campus units and programs with more clearly defined marketing programs to benefit the student experience
Guided by the Advisory Committee who appoints industry specific working groups
Ensures preferred business partners are aligned with UC Davis' Principles of Community and mission advance of any engagement

Strategic Alignment – Create and develop authentic world-class innovative partnerships that align with UC Davis' Principles of Community and academic mission
University Engagement – Secure collaborative partnerships that support the campus community and provide resources to enhance the student experience
Campus Impact – Enhance the lives of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and campus community through partnerships that directly support student success, teaching, research and civic engagement
Financial Sustainability – Pursue strategic partnerships that generate new revenue aimed at advancing the mission of the university
Diversity and Inclusion – Foster a climate of acceptance and inclusion, by seeking opportunities in partnerships to promote the value of diversity in people, ideas and perspectives.
